Technical Threads supplies Nitronic 60 (UNS S21800) parts to the chemical processing and ASME vessels. Our most common application is in conjunction with a stainless (often B8M) stud or bolt. Typically, only a Nitronic 60 nut will be used, often to prevent galling because Nitronic 60 is so strong, and it is a dissimilar metal.

ASTM 8S A194 & ASME SB194 Grade 8S (Nuts– common for both finished and heavy pattern)
